Chloe was called up last week at the end of the JV season as a practice player, and is therefore invited to sit on the bench, "dressed down" (in street clothes) Today one of the Varsity players got sick, and so Chloe was told to bring her uniform to sit on the bench as a backup. She entered the game with 1 minute, 7 seconds left of play, and used her opportunity to good advantage, guarding well, and making good passes. The team advances to the tournament, where they will play three games guaranteed, so she will dress for at least one of those games. There are only 8 teams in the state with this opportunity. GO IRISH!

On a more personal note; it was very eerie to go back to Tualatin after all these years. My little girlie learned to walk in those halls, and she got her first taste of varsity play in that same gym 14 years later. A very cool full circle moment.
