A Good Day!

I picked up Chloe from school yesterday, and she actually had a smile on her face. She had a couple of stories about other kids in her classes...so she seems to be settling in and making some friends. I never doubted for a moment that she would, but I was reminded once again how most ailments in the world are simple resolved by the passage of time...
She and I drove to Corvallis, to take Taylor a couple things he needs...He is living on couches of some of his teammates until they find him a house...but he is there, and he is happy. He was getting his physical yesterday when we arrived, so we waited for him...they guys drove up in Rob's car and climbed out in all their orange OS BASEBALL t shirts, black OS BASEBALL sorts and orange OS caps... They looked so...athletic! Taylor was grinning from ear to ear, and proceeded to give me the details of his physical...(I'll spare the details, suffice it to say it was very thorough.) But he is done, now...just needs to go through his orientation on Monday. We are going to have to get him a bike, though...since it is too much for him to rely on others, and his workouts are going to 2-a-days on Monday. He needs to get where he's going faster than walking.

Coop is headed to the Oregon-Fresno State game today...he's happy as a clam at high tide.
