One of the yukky things about living in an apartment is a lack of a little patch of dirt in which one can grow ones own sustenance. I have always had a little patch of dirt, and most years, have managed to grow something to eat. I like gardening when I get something tangible from it. Unfortunately, this year, we cannot do it. So I have decided to join a CSA...Community-supported Agriculture for a "subscription" for veggies each week. They send an assortment of fruits and veggies, complete with recipes and cooking suggestions, and the selection of course varies with the growing season. I am looking forward to starting it up, and I'll let you know how it goes!
